ipadidoceo - a great 'live' chronicle - sinks to school calendar, load time table, make mark books / attendance checks etc - I will never buy a chronicle again!
educreations - great tool to make tutorials - you can record, add text/annotations, insert images from your photos or internet, and insert numerous slides - easily saved and uploaded to edmodo/google site (I have done presentations on fibres, yarns and fabrics using educreations - kids absolutely loved it! doceri - a great app to brainstorm / create flow charts - again great to categorise fibres etc paper53 - I have used this to log progress of my year 12 class with their major progress (mainly folio) - I have made a journal for each student and when consulting, you are able to write/draw things and have a copy - this can then be emailed to students for their record also (bamboo paper is also fantastic) voicethread - a great app to evaluate designs - I upload a variety of images (great for historical, cultural, contemporary perspectives) and students answer questions / evaluate the design / annotate features etc... it has many great uses - 1 thing I love about it is that students can give an oral response, rather than typing - this allows them to talk and use technical language (great for literacy too!) grafio - great for flow charts / annotating art range - great for designing things with students - rather then them recycling your drawing - this way they can see you engage in the skill and work out how to draw different techniques (e.g. drape, pleats etc) and render - then email it to them and they have to recreate it themselves screenchomp - great for past questions - can record/annotate Magic Plan - create a plan of a room, building or field |
